The Rhine Wine is authentic, bone-dry, expressing the typical characteristics of the varietal, with a clear sense of mineral-ness, full and drinkable.
Ice Chardonnay is refine, expressive, ideal for gourmets, a mixture of cold and sun.
What about Italian Riesling, Sauvignon, Pinot Noir? I know you are curious. But I have to ask you to be patient.
Exquisite wines in idyllic surrounding? A toast to Kekčeva domačija.
Abstract from an interview:
Mitja once asked me, ‘Do you think I will make it?’
‘As far as I know you, you will,’ I said to him. ‘You are just enough crazy, distinctive, daring and you are already eagerly making your dream come true. I’m sure you will get where you’re going. So far, you always did. And you picked a good name for your wines. I know that Ducal is a derivative from your surname, but it also means noble. Though, you have to be aware that this raises people’s expectations.’
‘I won’t disappoint them,’ Mitja firmly noticed. ‘Simple things don’t interest me. I want my wines to have a character, I want them to be dry and full at the same time, so I will be able to stand up for them. I know no other way than an unbeaten way.’
Good luck, Kekec.
